GEV, based in Planegg, Germany, is the leading specialized wholesale supplier of spare parts for
catering equipment in Europe with turnover of around €16m in 2007. Its customers - specialized
trade and industry - can select from a product range of over 50,000 articles from the areas: cooking,
refrigeration, coffee, warewashing and universal. Customers are supplied worldwide with two
subsidiaries in France and Italy as well as a network of twelve other European partner companies.
The acquisition took place in the year 2004. The exit was realized by a Management-Buy-Out including
a third investor in February 2011.
